San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter Endowment

Background

The San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter Endowment honors John Vogel, CCIM as a Past President of the San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter.  the San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter Endowment was created in 2010 by the San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter with the matching funds provided by the CCIM Foundation.  Named endowed scholarships honor those who have shown great dedication, commitment, outstanding achievement and service to the commercial real estate industry.

Scholarship Description

Scholarships will be awarded to one Student and one Real Estate Professional each year, at a value of $500 each. Applications will be evaluated by the Education Endowment Committee of the San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter.

Eligibility – Student Scholarship

One student of junior, senior or graduate standing will be awarded a cash award of $500 to be used toward tuition or other educational expenses. The committee will give preference to applicants based on the following:

  • Commitment to the Real Estate Industry and the CCIM education
  • Academic Achievement in Real Estate related course work
  • Active involvement as a dues paying member with the San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter
  • Economic necessity

Eligibility – Real Estate Professional Scholarship

One Real Estate Professional will be awarded a $500 scholarship voucher to be used toward course registration for a CCIM Core Course (CI 101, CI 102, CI 103, CI 104) that is held in San Antonio. The committee will give preference to applicants based on the following:

  • Active involvement as a dues paying member with the San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter
  • Commitment to a commercial real estate career
  • Successful completion of prior CCIM courses and current Candidate Member of the CCIM Institute
  • Economic necessity
